Graci Ross

My passion for softball began at a very early age. I started playing when I was around 4 years old and transitioned to travel ball around the age of 10. If it wasn’t for softball I wouldn’t be the person I am today. The game has not only taught me how to be a leader and hard worker, but it has shown how to have perseverance and determination, and to have faith in myself even when no one else does. This sport has also shown me how to manage my time and make room for my other priorities, one of which being my academic career. I have the same determination towards school that I do for softball. A quality of mine that I feel makes me stand out compared to other student athletes, is my dedication. My dedication towards the sport, my teammates, and my grades. I set goals for myself and don’t quit until I reach them. Whether it be keeping my straight A’s in school or improving on a skill for softball, I will complete it. I plan to further my softball career after high school in college where I will study to become an OBGYN. It will not be easy but I will continue to work hard and achieve my goals.
