My Love for the game of softball started with the support from my family. They have helped me succeed in multiple aspects of my life including academically and athletically. My number one supporter is my grandpa. He was the one who first sparked my interest in the sport and from then on we would spend hours on the field. He is always critiquing me and showing up at every game that he can. They have also taught me that when playing; and in life, your mindset is everything. Having Confidence and a positive attitude can change how you play and make you significantly more successful. It took me a while to overcome this and realize that having confidence makes me a better player. I have learned to have good communication skills, teamwork, and to be an effective leader from my experiences with softball. I hope to one day use these skills as an educator in a classroom of my own.
